How can I log in to WEBGAP?

To log in to WEBGAP, simply head over to our login page at and login in using your username and password. Full screen the page using the icon in the bottom right hand corner and start browsing!

Which browsers does WEBGAP support?

You can use any browser with WEBGAP, but it works best on Google Chrome. We support all modern browsers like Mozilla Firefox, Safari, and Microsoft Edge, as well as legacy browsers like Internet Explorer 11.

Will you roll out more features?

Yes! We are constantly upgrading WEBGAP with new features and better performance, so you can expect our service and its functionality to get better over time. If you urgently need a feature please let us know!

Does WEBGAP support browser plugins?

Browser plugin support is only available with our WEBGAP Pro package which allows you to configure your local browser to connect to WEBGAP via a proxy for a real native web browsing user experience. Once you configure WEBGAP to work with your local browser, it will enable support for your browser plugins.

Does WEBGAP scan files before download?

Not at the moment, we will build in a file scan mechanism shortly but for now we download raw files directly to your downloads folder. We advise you to scan these files before downloading them with your AV software.

Does WEBGAP track my browsing activity?

No, we do not track any of your online activity, nor do we log the websites that you browse to during your WEBGAP session. We also strip out any website tracking code, tracking pixels and ad code from webpages.

How do I open a new browser tab?

New tabs open automatically on links that specify a new tab when clicked, otherwise there is currently no way to open a new tab within WEBGAP. You can however open as many WEBGAP windows as you need.

What do I do if a WEBGAP page freezes?

If your page freezes in any way, just refresh the browser tab using your browser refresh button and WEBGAP will refresh the underlying tab container and reload the website.

How do I report a bug or request a feature?

If you want to report a bug or request a feature, simply email our support team using, or submit a technical support ticket from our support center page.

Licensing Questions

How is WEBGAP licensed?

We currently have two licensing models, the first is WEBGAP GO which is available on a monthly subscription basis and the second is WEBGAP Pro which is available on fixed term contracts of between 1 to 5 years.


WEBGAP Go is our multi-tenant public cloud service, available on a self-service model with rolling subscriptions on a per user, per month basis. WEBGAP Go is suitable for individual users and small businesses who do not have any specific customization or additional security requirements and who need a fully managed remote browser service. We manage absolutely everything behind the scenes and your WEBGAP Go accounts are deployed in an automated fashion without you ever having to talk to us. WEBGAP Go hosted in our secure data centers located in the USA and each user on the platform is securely isolated from the others using rendering isolation, session isolation, process isolation and connection isolation.

What is WEBGAP Pro

WEBGAP Pro is our single-tenant private cloud service which provides you with a customizable remote browser platform that is hosted on physically isolated servers, offering a higher degree of isolation, separation, configuration and security than our public cloud offering. Going the private cloud route gives you much more flexibility in terms of platform setup and configuration, access to additional security tools and features, as well as administrative control over your platform and your users. WEBGAP Pro can integrate your existing security tools to seamlessly blend our platform into your infrastructure and systems. You can also setup WEBGAP Pro to work through your local browsers for a native web browsing experience. WEBGAP private clouds can be setup with your existing single-sign-on systems, can integrate with your AD and be tightly configured to your organizations own unique requirements.

Do you offer a software only option?

Not at the moment, WEBGAP is currently only available on a hosted model. We do intend to provide our customers with a software only version of the WEBGAP platform so that you can set up and install WEBGAP on your own servers, but we have not yet launched WEBGAP in that way. We expect to make our software available sometime in Q3 2019, following an invitation-only private beta program.
